The malicious payload the Storm Worm I wrote about earlier can carry Trojan.Peacomm or Win32.Small.DAM (a variant of Win32.Small), and affects most Windows-based platforms (Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP). It is spread as an attachment to e-mail messages.

The Storm Worm may arrive in a message with the following subject lines:

The Storm worm first appeared at the beginning of this year, in e-mail attachments with the subject line: "230 dead as storm batters Europe."

I sent this diagram of effects to accompany our response to a request for proposal to "Not For Profit Foundation X". The clients' representative said the diagram spoke to her without the accompanying text that I was planning to write. I'm curious if it does for you too :)
