Sustainable living
Sustainable living might be defined as a lifestyle that could, hypothetically, be sustained without exhausting any natural resources. The term can be applied to individuals or societies. Its adherents most often hold true sustainability as a goal or guide, and make lifestyle tradeoffs favoring sustainability where practical.
Guides
- Impoverished realities and starving bodies break the hearts of individuals and communities.
- Basic needs of all involved are adequately covered. We have what is just necessary with an occasional cookie or piece of pie (luck).
- We have a surplus and can easily hold space while maintaining survival consciousness.
- We give away what we have more than what we experience as surplus while being able to maintain survival consciousness.
- When we attract resources faster than we can spin out and give away, we (re)center to lose or choose any attachments and fixations we may have attracted.
